This socket weld coupling joins two pipes of the same size with socket ends on both sides, so the pipe is inserted into a machined socket and welded around the rim. The body is machined from 304/316 stainless steel, and each socket bore is precision-turned with a controlled insertion depth, so the two pipes meet centrally inside the coupling before welding. The socket weld construction suits small-bore, high-pressure lines where threaded connections would not hold the pressure class.
Socket weld joints are only as consistent as the socket that receives the pipe, and inconsistent depth is the classic cause of weld-root defects. We machine the socket bores and the depth stop to the same tolerance on every coupling, giving the welder a fixed reference for insertion on both ends. For projects using thin-wall or small-bore pipe, we set the socket bore against the actual pipe OD from the drawing and verify the fit before the batch ships, which reduces field weld failures.

Applications
- Small-bore high-pressure lines: the socket weld holds the pressure class that threading small pipe cannot.
- Instrument and sampling lines: the controlled insertion depth keeps field welds consistent at every joint.
- Hydraulic tubing: the welded socket removes threaded joints that could loosen under pulsing pressure.

Customization
Pipe OD, socket depth and wall thickness can be confirmed from drawings or pipe schedule. OEM/ODM production is supported.

Packaging & Transportation
Moisture-proof export cartons with internal cushioning; wooden crates for bulk orders. Shipping terms include EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP and DDP.
