Welded Gauge Valve

This welded gauge valve connects to a pipeline by a welded end while its other end carries a thread for the pressure gauge, making the pressure tap point a permanent, leak-resistant part of the line. The body is forged from 304/316 stainless steel in a compact form that takes little space at the tapping point, and the gauge-side thread spans M16x1.5 to M20x1.5. The internal stem allows the gauge to be isolated and replaced on site without depressurizing the whole line, keeping production running during instrument service.

A welded tap has to be right the first time, because it has to be cut out of the line if it is wrong. The value we add in production is the preparation: the weld end is machined square to the body axis and the gauge-side thread is concentric with it, so the gauge sits upright and the weld closes evenly around the joint. For clean-service lines, we can supply the passivated surface and confirm the material certificate, so the tap point meets the same standard as the pipe.
