A needle valve is a type of valve that allows for precise adjustment and has a wide range of applications. For example, it's used for adjusting the cutting distance in flame cutting; the knob used to adjust the flame temperature is a needle valve. Instrument needle valves are an important component of instrument measurement piping systems, mainly including gate valves and ball valves. Their function is to open or close pipeline passages. The valve core of a needle valve is a very sharp cone, inserted into the valve seat like a needle, hence its name.
